You say you're sorry, but you won't stop lying.
I say I'm okay, but I can't stop crying.
You know I want you to want me, but you pretend that you can't see.
Constantly I'm waiting for you to tell me that you've wanted me all along.
But when I see the truth, I was meant to be all alone.
I keep my hopes up, not accepting that I'm dead to you.
I wish I could turn my cheek and call you dead to me too.
