Cross my heart,
And hope to die,
You've made my day,
You've made me sigh.

And silently,
I write your name,
All etched in blood,
Inside my veins.

A thousand words,
A sunset sweet,
A broken chorus,
Melodic beat.

Away from home,
So lost with wounds,
Found a comfort
To finally swoon.

No matter who,
You choose to be,
I'll still be here.
I'll still be me.

So remove your face,
And place it there,
And you run your fingers,
Through my hair.
