I wish it was just a dream
Anything but the truth
But every time I wake up
I just know that it's true.

Never had I thought
That it would happen to me
The happy-go-lucky girl
Was what I used to be

That was then, this is now
I can't turn back time
No matter how much I try

So now I'm full of regret
Wishing i wasn't so blind
Wishing someone was there for me
To give me some advice

But all I can do now
Is face the facts that it's really true
Dealing with it, and facing the consequences
It happened to me, you're lucky it's not you.

This piece was written based on personal experience. I've been through a lot and i feel so stressed out and depressed. I just felt like expressing my feelings in this poem.
