Never Giving Up
It’s a Thursday,
Might as well call it the worst day,
Everything’s going wrong,
The pain keeps holding on.
I try to
Focus on the prize,
And block out
The troubles in my eyes.
My destination’s approaching,
I tell myself that I must keep.
Keep holding on,
Fight until the end.
Who ever said,
It’s impossible to win?
Don’t let go,
There’s only room to grow,
For yourself you must,
I’m never giving up.
Keep trying,
Slowly the pain’s subsiding,
On my own
This battle must be won.
No more crying,
Tear tracks are finally drying,
Confidence is creeping up,
In myself I found new love
And it’s all because.
Keep holding on,
Fight until the end,
Who ever said
It’s impossible to win?
Don’t let go,
There’s only room to grow,
For yourself you must,
I’m never giving up.
No more tears,
I refuse to cry.
In myself I finally feel alive.
Never gave,
Kept holding on,
And now you’ll see that I’m strong.
