I wake up
with my head in dreamland
put my feet down
and let my heart tumble
set my brain to autopilot
when I don't know where its taking me,
and I dive into a sea breeze
and get carried away.

(chorus)
I'm all of the romanticist
with only half the love
I'm flying through horizons
but I'm only half the dove.

Love only kills
those who are without it
so I'm burning down slowly
flickering with possibilities,
blow out the candle
and get a shot at luck
send me on a whirlwind ride
for I've hardly seen enough.

(chorus)
I'm all of the romanticist
with only half the love
I'm flying through horizons
but I'm only half the dove.

I'm growing back in masses
through an alternate dimension
climbing up the staircase
as i fall down
one by one.
I'm rising with the setting sun
as my mind laps at the shore,
thawing out the fire
as I'm burning up
for more.

(chorus)
I'm all of the romanticist
with only half the love
I'm flying through horizons
but I'm only half the dove

What a great piece. It’s so understandable. You made it really easy to see where you’re coming from. I hope you keep writing, because this is really good. You should check out some of my stuff. I think you would like it.
