Missing something.
I don't know what.
Holding in my hand
the memory of once was.

And I try to turn
I toss and shake
all through the night.
I just can't get rid of this unstoppable fright.

The void is empty.
The whole in my heart is
draining the life out of me.
It doesn't hurt knowing you are missing a piece.
The part that hurts is being aware of no release.

I have a problem, but that is not the case.
I can't fix it, that is my disgrace.

The way you write, I am able to sympathize. My favorite part is "the memory of once was."
