Be you... don't pretend to be someone else.

I’ve been hurt before
But never like this
Boy you really do take the ----
Do you like me or not?
Your so two faced and confusing
But this time
Watch me walk away
I don’t need you anymore
No not anymore am I going to listen to heartbreak songs because of you.
Now I know it wasn’t true
Soon one day…. you’ll realize
I’m the one who cared
like no other I’m one of a kind
But I guess your blind.
I’m not vain
I simply can’t take the pain.
I believed in you
But when you need me
don’t come racing back
When you realize I was the one who picked up the pieces for the confidence you lacked.

I sat by your side
I didn’t watch you cry
I said you‘d be fine.
I gave you advice
Definitely, more than twice.
But when it was my turn I cried alone
Eating a tub of rocky road.
How could this be?
That your not here with me
Not a single phone call from you
That’s when my days turned blue.

Cause I miss fighting
I miss kissing when it rains
I miss you covering me with your coat
When I was cold and freezing in the icy rain.
I imagined us growing old together
Sitting in front of the TV
While the young children finally found love
And us growing weak
But it was ok because you still had me.
we’ve been there and we’d look over proudly at them.
As our wrinkled hands would touch.
We would have loved each other that much.

I sat by your side
I didn’t watch you cry
I said you‘d be fine.
I gave you advice
Definitely, more than twice.
But when it was my turn I cried alone
Eating a tub of rocky road.
How could this be?
That your not here with me
Not a single phone call from you
That’s when my days turned blue.

He found another girl
Smiling at the camera
Pretty in pearls
Girls would decorate posters that say “I love you”
He’d be proud of himself as if he had achieved everything he wanted
But he wasn’t living the dream
He was just another silly American teen.
But didn’t they know he wasn’t around for any girl that wasn’t any use to him?
He was a user born to be
From day one I should of known we couldn’t be.

This is about what some girls may grow through when they feel heartbroken or used by a guy they thought was their everything.

way, we're taught to be something different, and we spend our whole lives

I like it... It's kinda sad, but very pretty...
