You know You're Alive
To feel the chill just means you're alive
To feel your heart beating, deep down inside
Flooding your heart and soaking your core
This is how you know that you were meant for more
For good, to last, and to conquer all fear
Never forget your reason, you are here
Flying along, feet brushing the ground,
Close your eyes quick, now look what you've found
One million miles away from the starting line
And ten million more since that time called today
Feeling the burn sets the mind on fire
Stretchs the limits, raise the higher and higher
Flames are my fingers and sparks are my thoughts
Smoke as my vision and scorch marks on my heart
Scalding my blood, hungry for oxygen
Though I will never start, never begin to give them enough
