Mine Alone
Everybody says please and thank you, hello and goodbye but that makes no difference when we all grow old and die. So I learned a few new words that are in my vocabulary, but that’s one of my many secrets that are mine alone to bury.
So here I sit all empty-hearted with this book bag full of empty promises. Like the many lies you told me that are mine alone to bury, but that’s one of my many burdens that are mine alone to carry.
Every time I trust someone I get let down thrown around, left to die but come one kid hold up that frown. So go get that fun, have some fun, and make them pay for what they’ve done. And that can be one your secrets that are yours alone to bury, just like my many burdens that are mine alone to carry.
