[Verse]

I~ want to look into

The mirror and see me

I~ am sick of being

Stuck in this decoy

I~ only want to look

At my body again

I~ don’t want to see

Someone who isn’t me

[Chorus]

From the head down~

I’m an abomination

From the head down~

I’m an amalgamation

From the head down~

I’m a disfiguration

From the head down~

I’m someone who isn’t me

[Outro]

All I see is a

Severed head on a stake

Everything below is

Unnatural, inhuman

I can’t withstand what I see

From the head down...

The author's comments:

“From The Head Down” follows the protagonist dealing with their gender/body dysphoria and the disconnect that they have with their body. The protagonist’s hair is quite long, and they begin having a conflict with themselves as they feel euphoric about their head & hair and dysphoric about the rest of their body.
