the worn roads we walk down
haunt me every time
words fall from a strangers lips
they ask, who am I?

dull nerves, tight throat
there is nothing to say
the unfilled feeling feels right
how long will it stay?

Dear Felicity
please come back to me
childlike spirit
and heart that used to bleed

Dear Felicity
please stay with me
empty satisfaction
that's everything I need

you've been coming back 'round here to these empty rooms
the light beat the dark that day
but you knew that, didn't you?

weight I could not bear to hold
was lifted that day
could this be a new point of view
what kinda price will I pay?

Dear Felicity
please come back to me
childlike spirit
and heart that used to bleed

Dear Felicity
please stay with me
undeniably
you're everything I need

I felt the light as it pushed down my throat
now I watch as it falls with every note

in the corner of the room nothin left to hold
numb with the breeze
we know how it feels to be left alone
don't we?

Dear Felicity
please don't change me
life already took its toll
you can take mine for free

Dear Felicity
please come back to me
childlike spirit
and heart that used to bleed

Dear Felicity
please, please,
please come back to me
