Many Journey
Two hearts born to run -
Right down the line it’s been you and me,
Into the the midnight sun.
And lovin’ a music man ain’t always what it’s suppose to be -
When the lights go down in the city.
So many stormy nights, so many wrongs or rights.
They say that the road ain’t no place to start a family.
Oh girl, you stand by me.
The same hotel, the same old room -
The smell of wine and cheap perfume.
Someday love will find you. Break those chains that bind you.
Along the wire -
One heart burns desire.

As a Journey enthusiast, I had an assignment for class to take quotes from movies, a TV show, a book, or song lyrics and make it into a poem. Hope you guys like it!
