Orchestra
Rain is pouring from the sky
drip, drop. Drip, drop.
It seems to play me a lullaby.
It's a full on orchestra from above,
a demonstration of God's love.
First is the lightning, crackling away,
it's like the symbols as it breaks through the day.
Next is thunder, the booming bass,
thundering like percussion through time and space.
Third is the wind, howling through the trees,
it rings like the woodwinds, buzzes like bees.
Last is the rain, splattering on the window pain.
It's my favorite, it has no place,
rain is its own natural sound as it sprinkles the plain;
its own unique sound with its own special space.
Rain is pouring from the sky
drip, drop. Drip, drop.
It seems to play me a lullaby.
It's a full on orchestra from above,
a demonstration of God's love.
