basketball poem
I dribble,I bounce
headed for the basket
it looks far
i get close
but i'm trapped
at mid court
the crowd hollers and shouts
my body is hot
brows of sweat
he shoots the ball
the crowd in suspense
the shot falls in off the board
we scream,we shout
the crowd is shocked
watching the shot
beat the clock.
