green, pink, yellow, white
the dead season itself dies;
life bursts, life returns
intense warmth engulfs
earth ends and hell begins here;
corrupted by sun
the hearth absconds us
reaping the kin of orchards
prepare for death's chill
the patient bearers
awaiting resurrection;
a white pall shrouds worlds
