Forbidden Fruit

Quick-stepping heart
Flutters like a bird
Happy-crawling skin
And a smile from within

Why is the forbidden fruit
Always the sweetest?

Gazes meet
But only for an instant,
And in an instant,
The amazing instant is gone.

But the effects still remain
A sweet taste of forbidden fruit.

Talking for hours,
Constant happiness.
These series of instants,
I wish would never go.

A seed has been sown,
The seed of a forbidden fruit.

Love the poem, only thing i can say is that perhaps "The amazing instant is gone" could have been slightly better worded. Other than that, great poem ^.^ nice flow for the most part and is something people can relate to easily :)
