Taps upon the goldfish bowl
The key out has its price
But the fee of sanity is two good minds too much
When we're living underwater

Apologies sink to join mine
And you never answer the letters
Just sit on the steps of the museum
While I try to forget the only thing you remember

Paradise is no place to live
But neither is this five gallon fishbowl
I'd rather just dream of the sunshine
But with you,
I would not miss the ocean

This poem, contrary to popular thought, is not about fish.

Hmm. I have no idea why this is under haiku, but I put it up here a while ago. Must have been a mistake.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain.

p.s.- how is this a haiku?

I think i have the meaning halfway, but you lose me a bit at the end because you say with you, I would not miss the ocean. I'm a little confused but i like the sound of this poem in my head. Very pretty!
