Love is patient and kind
Love is not hateful or harsh
Love lasts forever
Love is there for you
It will never hide its face
Love is in your heart
You might feel alone
But love is always close by

Your piece is very sweet and hopeful. I love that passage of Scripture and you did a nice job of turning it into a poem.

This is sweet but it sounds like the verse in the Corinthians that they say at weddings all the time.

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
It is not proud, it is not rude,
It is not self-seeking.
I like your poem. This piece was from my bible but I don't know what order it goes in, that is all I can remember...

This poem is extremely well written and captures my attention right from the first line. This poem gives the reader a new perspective on love. For example, like when you said “Love lasts forever” this really opens the reader up giving he/she a new found perspective on love. So good work writing this poem and I hope to see more work from you in the future.
