Great use of words!
On this day two years ago, it snowed. This year it rained. While my mom is delighted she doesn't have to shovel snow (I have to admit I do appreciate not having to shovel snow as often) I can't help but think of how that rain is melting the land the polar bears live on as I look out the window drinking hot cocoa.
