Envy
envy fondled my
velvet heart and warped it
into a black knot
Greed
ever avid I
entreat you opulence whilst
my gold spills the brim
Lust
lechery for your
pouty lips grew baobabs on
my tiny planet
Sloth
I flee my duty
yet towed down by the lazy
man's load to torpor
Pride
in denial I
rove the labyrinth of pride
no thought of freedom
Wrath
the licking flames of
fury tore away my skin
gorged on my psyche
Gluttony
drank myself into
a stupor. No goals in mind
just what I covet
