Waking up to birds chirping
The sun shining
The fan spinning
Breakfast cooking
And the smell of pure happiness
Going to the pool everyday
And savoring the sweet taste of lemonade
Feeling the heat wash off of your legs when jumping into the icy pool
And feeling the weight of the long damp hair trailing down my back
Hanging out with friends
And imagining fun that hopefully would never end
Staying up late
And watching storms until they die, fading away into the darkness
Running and jumping through puddles
And watching the ripples get bigger
Then August comes
And reality comes back into vision
