The crescent of the moon

upside down upon

the glistening smooth clouds.

The rays of light

creating a frown

on top the glittering sea.

Standing on top this pier

looking down at my grace

my savior.

The beautiful current

shifts my eyes from the frown

unto my dreams of peace,

unto my dreams of freedom.

Letting go of my past,

my hurt,

my mistakes,

by falling unto grace.

And then one more look up

and the moon has changed.

I smile.

Such nice imagery! It might be fun to experiment with different points of view, like telling this from the perspective of the moon, or the water.
