Death or Life
Poem inspired by… Robert Frost (Fire and Ice)
Death or Life
There are two choices to choose from,
Death or life.
Death is rising alarmingly,
I walk to the beat of the death drum.
123 people that choose death,
Figure out ways… and win.
Will I be number 124,
When I can't steady my breath.
Which choice will you choose,
The one that make you stay,
Or the one that haunts.
Either way there are blues.
56 percent.
That number is the rate of life,
The ones who fight cancer.
The others left a dent.
There are two choices to choose from,
Death or life.
Most people live.
But the others are numb.
