I am the middle child
I am the middle child
Though I don't think I like that title
The oldest is the brightest
The youngest is the cutest
What does that leave the middle
Besides some lousy hand me downs
My younger sister is quite a pest
And when I yell for her to leave
A lecture is what I recieve
For I had yelled at the baby as you may have guessed.
My older sister seems to think she can do whatever she desires
And always has a get out of jail free card.
Now she is in college around 1000 miles away
But still seems to get all the attention
I don’t understand why they couldn't have stopped with me
Could they not see
I was enough to spark some joy
And take on the title of the cutest
But after much deliberation I have realized
The middle child isn't too bad
For I always have someone to give me advice
And someone to hug not only once but twice
After all everything happens for a reason
And I was chosen to enter the world second
