I rerember

      the

smoke

the

            screams the

prayers

      the

sirens

       the

dust

       the coughing

the crying

     but most of

all

      I rerember 

the

                       hope

the rebuilding

                coming

together

          and somehow

we got

            through

the power to move 

               on

yet

                keep

vigil   for the

                                                fallen
