The smell of the outdoors.
The singing of the birds,
My dog darting through the paths.
Then army crawling to pounce and surprise,
Squirrels and birds resting on the woods floor.
Splash, diving in to play with the fish.
I sit at the edge, with a flick of the tail im wet.
Wisconsin's state parks,
A place to unwind, relax, and let loose.
Not the same as a backyard.
