Open your eyes,

Look all around,

People can do awful things,

Without making a sound

If you really look,

You will see,

The terrible place this world can be

Few get in trouble for doing wrong,

Its been this way all along

Maybe if everyone opened their eyes,

The bad in this world would shrink in size

This piece is about how people choose not to look at the bad things around them, the things that they can fix. If people opened their eyes, and took action, this world would be a better place.
