My Grandmother Up Above
My grandmother up above----
She came down and sent me some love
I can’t imagine how proud she would be of me
How I became a beautiful young lady
But, sometimes I can be shady
Before she left out this world
I gave her a promise that I will always keep
When I found out she passed, Everyday I weep
I try to better myself, not only for me but also for her
One moment I’m here next moment everything is a blur
Something’s are hard but she always told me she can believe in me----
Even though she gone, she is still apart of the family tree
Since I moved down delaware life has been good
Because living in philly is a crazy hood
I miss her to death and I know she looking down on us
Things about her I just don’t want to discuss
She will always be in my heart anywhere I go
Just wish she was here to watch us grow.
