Population
Let us have a talk
A long talk,
A talk about people, citizens, humankind
The pair it takes to make two
Then those two find another two
Another to make more
Over and over and over
An endless cycle of beginning,
But with beginning must come
What some people fear
Others welcome
A crash a burn
The eyes that close
The end
Everyone who says there last words, eat their last meal, takes one final breath,
All of it in a simple ratio
Simple three words
Two to one,
Two births, one death,
Every dead person replaced by two infants
A seven point five billion plus two years
Turns to an Eight billion add thirty years
Eleven billion,
The question is
When
Will
It
Stop.
