Family is a Life-propelled Bicycle
Family is a fine-toned bicycle, racing,
speeding down the bumpy dirt road and
smooth highways that make up life.
The brakes are supportive,
protective, always alert and reliable- knowing
they'll always be there. It's their job.
The handlebars provide direction, deciding
when to turn, which path to take to guide
along and being smart enough to know
when a turn is needed to get you up
that larger than life hill.
The body is a strong supporter, holding the
other parts together and coordinating all
their movements so the ride is smoother.
The wheels are a vital part-always moving,
going with the flow, enduring the rough and
unknown paths it takes, and always, always
keeping the adventurous, nonstop side,
turning no matter what.
Family is a complex, beautiful bicycle.
