Galaxy
From the moment that I first saw you
I saw a galaxy.
Your sun and stars are all that consume me.
Your venus moons and vicious meteors
Are my constant cycles of demise and birth.
Your rings around saturn
I hope to, one day
plant around my finger.
Your neptune blues and mercury fire red
Fill up my dire need to be in love again.
The constant strings of constellations tell stories
That I wish to know as well as the back of my hand.
I want to get to know you,
From your black holes
To your shiniest stars
I want to hear your stories
About how you were once at the bottom of the world
And now on top of the universe.
I want you to let me love you
Until all that's left between us is
Stardust.
I could have all the planets that there ever were,
But you are my sun
And I can’t help but gravitate around you.
