No one can control me
I’m as free as the birds singing in the trees
Flying over head
I’m as free as the water
That runs down your bed
I’m as free as the sun
That brightens the world
That hold out the could
I’m as free as the planet
Always spinning
At the same speed
I'm not free at all
It’s my life
That I have no control over
The path has been picked for me
All my life
You’ve controlled me
