Where I am From
I am from camping with my family and friends in South Dakota
and jumping of cliffs into the rushing water at the hippie hole.
I am from a red brick house on the left side of a subdivision
and our home projects unfinished.
I am from sipping piping hot chocolate in a snowman mug
and eating rich chocolate ice cream on summer days.
I am from running and flipping around a field playing soccer
and skating on the ice while the lactic acid builds up in my legs.
I am from letting go my passion of soccer
and picking up running fast on a track.
I am from Jon and Betty
and two younger sisters.
I am from hiking up peaks
to skiing down slippery slopes.
I am from the nickname at hockey Su
and the nickname K dog even though my name starts with a C.
I am from jumping over seats on the bus
and not doing homework to challenging myself with AP classes.
I am from pursuing my passions
and practicing to be the best.
