Do they reach
Out to us?
What makes them so special?

A gentle stroke
Of the hair.

Can hurt
Like a slap
To the face.

Why are they so
Powerful?
Words,
Are magic,
Something
Beyond
What
We
Can
Comprehend.
When one
Wields them,
They hold
The world
In the palm
Of their hands.
