The pale blue light

Chases the rays of cold

Sending shadows around the world

They stretch farther and farther

Until the world hides away

For they fear the darkness that looms

As the last ray fades

And the blue light reigns

The shadows begin to dance

The howls of the wolves guide their rhythm

As they shiver through the grass on the hills

Waiting for the world to rejoice

They wait through the silence

Wait for their blessing

As the moon begins to sink in the sky

But the shadows still danced

For they still had their hope

That one day the world will rejoice in the darkness
