What is the problem?
The problem with this world?
Why does it matter?
The color of our skin?

Does one choose this path?
Do they choose to be cruel and judgmental?
White, brown, black, and mixed
One can not choose their color
You are born with it.

Why can't people understand?
Understand that we're all the same?
We as people have no differences
Yet the color of our skin,
It changes everything.

The Colors of Racism;
It tells a “white” person,
They can not walk out without being told,
They're greedy and rich.

The Colors of Racism;
It tells a “brown” person,
They can not walk out being told,
To go back where they came from.

The Colors of Racism;
It tells a “black” person,
They can not walk out without being told,
They will receive the looks of disgrace,
    they will be threatened,
By lynching or enslaved once again

  The Colors of Racism;
It tells a “mixed” person,
They can not walk out without being told,
They must choose a side.

The Colors of Racism;
It should be told,
It can go away,
Stop separating our world,
We have no use for you,
Never have, never will.

The Colors of Racism;
Rest In Peace,
Because our world, our generation
   will shut you down
We will never need you
You shall become extinct
As we arise against you.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek,
there is neither slave nor free man,
there is neither male nor female;
for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

This piece was inspired by my friend, Ari, she is a sister to me and she is Black. Everytime we hang out there's always people looking at us in disgrace because a Black and a white are best friends
