Why was music given a name?

Why are those flying notes not just "sound?"

Is "la-la" not the same as "blah-blah?"

Even the musician in the subway can

expect to hear the clink of change.

But, if he only spoke, not an ear would hear.

Maybe you don't care for his strums either,

but just know that you did tune in for a second;

your brain changed the station to a sound it hears as music.

The musicain's ear recieves those "clinks" as music,

when you and I hear only sounds when tipping our ear's music.
