Clouded Vision
Trust broken
Betrayal prevalent
Culture has corroded my life
Everything I knew to be true
Has been shaken
Gossip the language of the devil
Trying so hard to care less
On the inside I'm a mess
It's so hard to understand why
Fog clouding my wayward vision
So frustrating
Want to scream
Past the point of disbelief
I have to push forward no matter what life throws at me
I see stars so close to earth
I try to touch them yet they're out of reach
they whisper reminding me that all is not hopeless
even if it seems to be
my eyes fill with tears
as they tell me that sometimes I have to let go
let go of it all
its the only way to move on
the only way for the fog to clear
the only way for me to see where to go from here
