The time of year when the fighting starts
when summer gets bullied like Alfred Bettingford
and Autumn thinks shes Suzie Sutton.
The time of year when bright, colorful leaves
are the Uncle Ralph's of their species.
Trying to stick up for their season,
while the dead leaves try to be the Dorm Mother of summer.
Their are no more Summer Nights
just cold winter ones ahead.
Frost will slowly takeover sunlight.
And Winter stays like Reverend Howard,
through four brisk months.
Slowly Spring will come,
flowers will blossom
pollen will fill the air
and spring will disappear quick like Joyce.
When suddenly the almighty sun
stops wearing the mask
and comes out again.
Summer will be filled
with cheer and joy.
But quickly rotate with fury
to autumn again.
Starting the cycle
all over again.
