What is this beacon for?
It stands tall in the grassy field.
No one questions it.
Everyone ignores it.
What is this beacon for?
Through night and day,
it shows no life.
No buzzing, beeping, or flashing.
What is this beacon for?
There’s a path that leads to it.
It’s not gated or blocked off,
but I feel like I’m not allowed there.
