Someday...
On which day will I master myself
to the point where the society which I stand
can pick me up from the abandoned shelf.
On what day will my worth
make all my actions and sentiments
match a golden stone's worth.
Until how many days do I wait?
What path do I take?
What merit will I make?
What will be my fate?
I hope that someday I see the glimpse of the sun
without being blinded by its glory,
maybe that will be the day I won.
But, it seems, until that day
I must swim within the landfill of my thoughts,
fish within the garbage that I bought,
and sail away from the wasteland that they brought.
Until then, this is where I stay.
