Broken
Broken,
shattered, that’s what I am
A pain and shame that just eats away.
A joy is tossed, and a life is lost and now
All I am is Broken
I stare at what was left, what was there
What is gone, it was now striped away
And left Broken
Broken is what you get, what you are
What you hide, what you wish wasn’t inside
And is left alone Broken
Overcome, the pain and gain a thing
That when others look over they see a
Story that is now Open
Reveal what’s inside, for to no longer hide
Is such a strive that when others look over
They see you are NOT
Broken
