Black Mirrors
Striving after ever fading memories, sifting through the muck.
Desperately grasping for something familiar.
Never does something reveal itself.
Waiting on the veil to fall, realizing the futility of it all.
I walk on despite.
My memory is not poor, it just evades me
Many things I remember are from way back when.
Needing a key of a familiar face.
As for now most of those keys are gone
Gathered and dispersed, far from here
creating more memories for someone else.
