People are turning towards drugs
When they really need hugs
They need to get high
They be shootin up in their thighs
They need that brief happiness
Because all they have is sadness
They had broken homes
Pain like broken bones
They dropped out of schools
People treat them like fools
They live on the street
Blisters with no shoes on their feet
They wander
With nothing to ponder
They have no jobs
So they turn towards mobs
They turn to crime
The bank bells chime
They fall into jail
With no money for bail
They seek help
But all they can get out is a yelp
