Out of This World

 

A vast dictionary of stars loom above Earth. 

Constellations string together, finding their place among blank space.

Scattered dust and atoms become ideas,

Exploding into existence and onto a lined, night sky.

 

Hungry voids feed, sucking syllables from determined brains.

Crushing dark defeat renders entire galaxies speechless.

Nevertheless, an endless supply of stars wait in the wings,

Beginning as stardust and growing into a universe.
