I wish my life was a fairytale
So every time I got rejected
It would be perfected

I wish my life was a fairytale
So every time I was alone in
My balloon it would be popped
Like in a cartoon

I wish my life was a fairytale
So all the monsters inside can
Finally collide

I wish my life was a fairytale
So that suicide would end
Worldwide

I wish my life was a fairytale
So this nation won’t divide
And be on the same side

I wish my life was a fairytale
So i could live right and not
Cry out my “goodnights”

But it’s not a fairytale because
My brothers and sisters are
Not out of jail and can’t bail

And now all I can hear is silence
Because all I live for is absence
And violence

I’m not that fairy godmother
With the wand that is perfectly
Blonde

I’m not that princess full of
Makeup that never had a
Breakup

I’m not living in that castle
And never had a hassle

I’m not wearing that dress
To have you impressed
And me oppressed

I’m not gonna be a barbie
And be expected to party

Because you can take my
Heart down the drain
But you will never take
My brain.

I want people to understand the issues going on today instead of only being glued on to their technology or themselves.I also want them to know that no one is perfect and that they will never meet the standards of a princess because then they are not being their true self.
