You Don't See Me Blowing Apart
My scars are hidden by long pants. When someone sees notices the constant I have to break the pattern with a pair that is ripped. Give them a look inside when the window isn't really opened at all, just polished up a bit. When someone sees my scratches I can usually blame it on a friend’s pet. Too bad that dog died three years ago and we haven’t really talked since that class we had together. I'm sure to keep my costume on with the grayish chunks getting cleaned out of my character’s nails daily. The new black comforter works wonders on corking the small dark spots of my midnight stories. Bruises and dents in my legs are from work when I'm at school and sports or school when I'm at work. My eyes are red because I just smoked and of course I'm allergic to everything in the air. I'm looking tired again because I'm back in school and the homework for the three classes are just oh so horrible. I only shake because I have to give a presentation today. My mom was worried about me having an allergic reaction to my makeup and that's the only reason I haven't bothered to do it the last nine days. Sweats are just comfortable and I'm bloated. I'm really just not hungry. That big red pill is just a vitamin. My stories are made up. Of course that wasn't about me. I feel great today yesterday was just a rough day. I couldn't make it because my mom was mad about something stupid. It's just a spider bite. I've just been scatterbrained today. Sorry I totally forgot. I got your text and forgot to hit send. It's just my face I'm actually super happy. Yeah that smiles real. So is the rest of the charade. What else would you like to hear?
