Would you forgive me if I left tonight?
If I threw away our blissful tomorrow?
Could you forgive me for being afraid?
because darling I'm petrified.
I'm afraid that you hold me too tight,
that you look ar my like I could reach high enough to pluck a star for you.
You speak to me like I discovered water,
like I forged mountains with my finger tips.
I shiver when you tell me you love me
because i can tell you mean it.
Darling please forgive me tonight.
Let me face myself.
