I feel nothing at all

"Just cheer up,"

I heard it a thousand times

Pep talks, lectures,

They all are just

Empty words

Echoing against nothing

They tell me

What to do 

What not to do

I hear it all over again

I can predict their words

So I won't change

I can't change

"You can do it,"

"I believe in you,"

"Nothing is impossible!"

How creative,

How overused

I started not to care

I tune out what they say

Maybe

Someday

There will be
