Cursed Feeling

I clench my fists to keep myself contained
And throw an insult to stay undetected;
I look away lest my eyes betray me
And avoid the truth with none of my heart;
I utter not the word that unsettles me so
And hide when confronted with my feelings;
Is this the only way I know how to react
To an emotion truly beautiful and dangerous?
